Construction worker arrested on rape charges

A 23-YEAR-OLD construction worker was nabbed Thursday, February 20, 2020, by members of the City Mobile Force Company for allegedly raping a girl in 2017.

The suspect was identified as Ariel Arriesgado Cuyos, a resident of Barangay Maya, Daanbantayan, Cebu.

The warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Marlon Jay Moneva of the Regional Trial Court branch 20 in Cebu City. No bail was recommended.

According to reports, the suspect raped a 15-year-old girl in Barangay Talamban, Cebu City in 2017.

Cuyos denied the allegations and said the girl only embraced him but he did not make any sexual advances. (AYB/JGS)
