THE Department of Agriculture (DA) 7 and The Green Table signed on Thursday, May 27, 2021, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that sets up a direct link between farmers and consumers.

The MOU allows The Green Table to partner directly with small farmers and fisherfolk cooperatives and associations in Cebu to help them earn and increase their income.

The Green Table is an e-commerce service for farmers that offer delivery services of farm-fresh, natural, and locally grown farm products to consumers.

The deal was signed during the opening of the two-day fair and exhibit organized by DA 7 and held at the agency’s premises in Maguikay, Mandaue City.
