WHAT used to be a drinking spree turned out to be a nightmare for three persons in Bogo City, northern Cebu after they were hacked by their neighbor for no apparent reason on Monday at 6:45 p.m., January 24, 2022.

Lt. Colonel Florendo Fajardo, chief of the Bogo Police Station, identified the victims as Randy Gallarde, 40, and his daughter Jypil, 12, and Francisco Catamco, 61, married, and their neighbor Amancio Barba, Jr. 56, as the perpetrator.

In an investigation conducted by the Bogo Police Station, it was learned that Gallarde and Catamco were drinking liquor at the house of the former when Barba suddenly arrived and hacked them with a bolo.
