Fire hits 2-story building in Tabunok, Talisay

A FIRE broke out Friday morning, August 20, in a two-story building located at the back of Gaisano Grand Tabunok in Barangay Tabunok, Talisay City.

The Bureau of Fire Investigation said they received the alarm at 10:55 a.m. but the fire was placed under control 15 minutes after, or at 11:10 a.m. Fire-out was declared at 11:18 a.m.

No one was injured in the incident, but the fire left about P1 million worth of damage to properties. One Montero vehicle was also damaged.

Initial investigation revealed that an explosion was heard before smoke came out of the building. Authorities are looking into possible short circuit or electrical wiring problem as cause of the blaze.
