Fire hits Barangay Kasambagan, Cebu City

AN AFTERNOON fire broke out at a residential area in Sitio Panagdait, Barangay Kasambagan, Cebu City on Sunday, January 26, 2020.

Firefighters received the alarm at around 3:15 p.m.

The fire was raised to third alarm at 3:29 p.m, which means all fire stations in nearby cities were asked to respond to the incident.

The blaze was declared under control at 4:40 p.m.

Based on initial reports by the Cebu City Fire and Arson Investigation Unit, around 25 houses were razed by the fire, leaving an estimated P500,000 worth of damages.

Firefighters are still investigating the cause of the fire. (JGS)
