Fire hits hotel in Cebu City

A DAWN fire hit the Hotel Elizabeth along Archbishop Reyes Avenue, Barangay Kamputhaw, Cebu City on Sunday, April 21.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Central Visayas reported they received the alarm at 1:33 a.m.

The origin of the fire was traced at the generator set room of the hotel.

The BFP-Central Visayas said the room was partially burned.

The fire was placed under control at 2:13 a.m. and was declared out at 2:24 a.m.

Damage was pegged at P10,000. No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. (JOB)
