Fisherman drowns in Argao

A 61-year-old fisherman was found floating lifeless around 1 p.m. Saturday, November 10, in the seawaters off Barangay Taloot, Argao town, Cebu.

Police identified the fatality as Domenciano Calma, who was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead on arrival by the attending doctor.

Initial investigation showed that Calma went fishing at 5 a.m. on the same day, his wife told the police.

Eight hours later, Calma was found by other fishermen floating near his wooden boat.

Police are still investigating to determine if there was no foul play involved in Calma's death. (KAL)
