THE legal woes of the four senior high school students shown in a viral video molesting a girl continue to pile up, as rape charges have been recommended for filing against them.

Officials of the Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD) and Investigation and Detective Management Branch (IDMB) of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) recommended the filing of rape charges against the four students.

The CCPO made the recommendation after it was determined that the young woman who was allegedly abused in the viral video was found to be raped.

Based on CCPO's investigation, the four senior high school students reportedly brought the woman to an unspecified lodge in Cebu City where they took turns in raping her.

Aside from rape, the CCPO has recommended filing a case of acts of lasciviousness against the four students.

Two of the four students will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9995 or the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act for taking videos on the woman without her consent. (From AYB of Superbalita Cebu)
