Magnitude 3.1 quake hits Dalaguete, Cebu

A 3.1 MAGNITUDE earthquake hit the eastern part of Dalaguete, Cebu at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 1.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the earthquake was tectonic in origin which had a depth of four kilometers.

Phivolcs said there are no expected aftershocks. (EZN)
