Man nabbed for growing marijuana plants in Talisay City

A MAN was arrested by police authorities on Tuesday dawn, July 10, for allegedly raising plants believed to be marijuana inside his house in Barangay Lawaan 1, Talisay City.

Operatives led by SPO3 Cecilio Mirza arrested Marc Jim Alngog, 29, at around 4:20 a.m. today after a concerned citizen reported to police that the suspect has been keeping plants believed to be marijuana at the back of his house.

Police recovered an improvised pot with four fully-grown marijuana plants at the back of Alngog's house.

Police have detained Alngog, who will be charged for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. (JKV/SunStar cebu)
