THE Municipal Council of San Fernando, Cebu is set to pass a resolution urging business owners to give discounts to their customers who are already vaccinated against Covid-19.

Municipal Councilor Philip Jude Medalla, chairman of the committee on health, said he will sponsor the resolution.

Medalla said he will schedule a meeting with the officials of the San Fernando Chamber of Commerce and Industry to discuss with them the Municipal Council’s plan.

Medalla said it would be good for San Fernando if it presses on with its economic activities.

Around 2,000 individuals, including Medalla, have been inoculated with the Covid-19 vaccine.

The councilor urged San Fernando residents to register for vaccination through the official Facebook page of the municipality’s rural health unit as they do not have to visit the Municipal Hall to be included in the list. (GCM, KAL)
