A TEMPORARY residential facility for victims and survivors of different forms of abuse, violence, and exploitation held a Santacruzan on Friday, May 28, 2021, as a culmination of the rehabilitative activities done in May.

Home for Girls, which is run by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), made Santacruzan an opportunity for its residents to hone their talents and discover their potentials.

Following the common elements of the religious-historical pageant that depicts the finding of the True Cross by Queen Helena, mother of Constantine the Great, selected girls served as “sagalas” dressed in ternos and gowns made of recyclable materials and walked underneath elaborately decorated umbrellas and arches.
