STARTING Thursday, September 1, 2022, the traffic personnel of the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX), a new bridge linking Cebu City in mainland Cebu to Cordova town on Mactan Island, can already issue a temporary operator's permit (TOP) to erring drivers.

The Land Transportation Office in Central Visayas (LTO 7) has finally deputized the CCLEX traffic crew to apprehend drivers who violate traffic rules along the vicinity of the bridge.

The TOP receipts were turned over by the said government agency to the deputized bridge personnel at the CCLEX tollgate in Cordova.

A simulation on traffic apprehension followed by flagging down drivers, informing them about the start of the implementation of the new traffic policy. (Amper Campaña, TPT)
