A TRUCK boy was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Pulangbato, Cebu City on Thursday, June 1, 2023.

The suspect was identified as Daniel Sabanpan, who yielded P300,000 worth of suspected shabu during the anti-illegal drug operation headed by Investigator Agent 1 Jessie Cabutotan of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Central Visayas(PDEA 7).

Cabutotan said they first verified the illegal drug activity of the suspect for more than a week before they conducted the operation.

Sabanpan stated in a media interview that he would receive P10,000 as payment for every drug supply that he could dispose of, in addition to the little amount of drugs that he could sell on his own.

The suspect will be facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (BBT, TPT)
