Woman dies ‘after drinking insecticide’

A WOMAN died after she drank two bottles of insecticide in Sitio Camansi, Barangay Togonon in Danao City, northern Cebu.

The victim was identified as 39-year-old Angelie Bogtai Capin, a cashier in an agrivet supply store in the city.

Staff Sergeant Allan Virtucio, an investigator at the Danao City Police Station, said Angelie’s husband Manuel found her unconscious inside their toilet with foam coming out of her mouth.

Manuel immediately asked his relatives for assistance and they rushed her to the hospital, where Angelie was declared dead on arrival.
