EVEN though he is already 40 years old, Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao showed the whole world what a unique talent he is after a lopsided beating of four-division world champion Adrien Broner at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

“He looked spectacular. Manny will prove everyone wrong every time because that is what greatness is all about. Manny is special and people around the world have realized that now. There will be nobody like him in 100 years,” ALA Promotions president Michael Aldeguer told SunStar Cebu.

Pacquiao got the nod of all three judges with one-sided scores of 117-111, 116-112 and 116-112.

“He can fight whoever he wants. He is still an elite fighter and everyone should forget he is 40,” said Aldeguer.

Immediately after the fight Pacquiao has been called out by a few champions that want to challenge him.

World Boxing Association (WBA) super featherweight champion Gervonta Davis, who’s also handled by Al Haymon, took it to Twitter to call out Pacquiao. Davis is having a title defense against Abner Mares next month. If he wants a fight with Pacquiao, he has to move up a few weight divisions.

The other fighters that have shown interest are former Pacquiao opponent Jeff Horn and Mikey Garcia.

Horn lost the World Boxing Organization welterweight belt he won against Pacquiao after a ninth round stoppage in the hands of Terence Crawford. (EKA)
