Army Warriors show their might

THE Philippine Army Dragon Warriors of Manila lived up to their lofty billing after bagging three gold medals in the 2019 Cebu City Dragonboat Regatta at the Bayfront Il Corso Mall, South Road Properties on Sunday, May 5.

The Army Dragon Warriors clocked 52.37 seconds in the 200-meter small boat open category grand finals to win the gold medal over three other finalists.

Dumaguete City Yellowfins finished at second place in 53.23 and was followed by Braveheart DragonBoat Team of Cagayan de Oro City (54:09) and the Black Manta Warriors of Lapu-Lapu City (54.69).

Army Dragon snatched another gold medal in the small boat 200m mixed category after clocking in 54.60, beating Black Manta Warriors (55.07) and SJ Banatti of Negros (55.41). (RSC)
