THE ARQ Builders defended their title in the Duterte Basketball Cup as they captured the championship with a thrilling 63-62 win over SMCCO in Game Two of the finals at the Capitol Parish gym on Sunday night, Feb. 16, 2020.

Jesus Saga Jr. made sure that the Builders would go home with the crown as he put up 20 points to carry the team to the victory

Arriesgado Snay also showed off his versatility on both ends of the floor as he fired in 10 points, six rebounds, an assist and two steals.

Skilled big man Noel Canedo tried to extend the series with his stellar play that resulted in 17 points and 14 rebounds but it was not meant to be for SMCCO. Albert Echavarria also had 15 points, two rebounds and two assists for the losing side. (JNP)
