BIT Colleges ousts UB in semifinals

THE BIT International Colleges outlasted the University of Bohol, 118-115, in overtime, to book itself a spot in the finals of the Juniors division of the Bohol Schools Athletic Association (BSAA) Season 9 basketball tournament at the UB gym in Tagbilaran City on Nov. 22, 2019. Kenneth Camargo paced BIT IC with 27 points, two assists and three steals while Arch Jaynel Castanares added 25 markers.

Christin Ytis was just as lethal on the floor as he submitted 24 points even as King Senadoza and Marc Pasagad tallied 18 and 15 points, respectively.

Meanwhile, in the Seniors competition, the Bohol Institute of Technology took down the Holy Name University to book a seat in the finals.

Jeryyco Penales and Mark Bual had 23 points each with the former also putting up three rebounds, two assists, a steal and two blocks.

Clifford Marsamolo and Kaiser Manlapat also played key roles in the BIT win as they had 19 and 14 points, respectively. (JNP)
