TURKISH striker Arda Cinkir once again displayed his peak form after another impressive performance to lift Cebu FC to another victory over Maharlika Manila FC in the 2022 Philippines Football League (PFL).

After a four-goal performance in his last match, Cinkir was The Gentle Giants lone scorer as they defeated Maharlika FC, 1-0, on Sept. 20 at the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite.

Cinkir scored the early goal in just the fourth minute of regulation. Cinkir is now the league’s leading scorer with seven goals.

Cebu FC opens up the second round with a win and moves to second place with 14 points and just a point behind first place Kaya FC, which has 15 points after failing to earn points after losing to United City FC (UCFC).

UCFC dropped to third with 13 points. Stallion Laguna FC is fourth with six points, Azkals Development Team (ADT) is fifth with four points, Mendiola FC 1991 is sixth with three points and Maharlika FC is still at the bottom with no points.
