AFTER a successful fundraising football event, the alumni of Don Bosco Technological Center want to do another fundraiser later this year.

“It was very successful. All teams showed up in full force. All the games were enjoyable to watch and we have raised more than what we expected,” said organizer Jerome Villordon.

“Our next event will be in December 2018. We will have to finalize everything closing towards the date. We expect more teams to join, more games to be played and more prepared teams of course.”

El Clasico IV, the fundraising event, last June 30 at the Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) raised a total of P64,190.

The proceeds of the event will go to the football program of Don Bosco schools.

In the El Clasico IV event, DBTC Legends, DBTC B and DBTC ‘93-’94 came out as winners.

DBTC Legends outclassed DBTC ‘95-’99, 10-3; DBTC B crushed DB Boys Home, 9-5; and DBTC ‘93-’94 beat DBPPOL, 6-3.

“Same teams will be back and we will add another one or two teams this Dec. 29, 2018, our tentative date,” said Villordon. (EKA)
