AN UNRESTRICTED free agent, the versatile wingman shunned Terrafirma Dyip’s contract extension offer and chose to return to the very first team that he played for in the PBA. After winning a title with TNT back in 2015 and four more along the way with the San Miguel Beermen, Matt Ganuelas-Rosser is eager to help his new team, the TNT Tropang Giga, win even more championships in the PBA.

“I have five championships. I want five more. And if I can get that here, that would be great,” said the 31-year-old during his appearance on the TV show, “The Game” on One Sports.

Ganuelas-Rosser explained that he appreciated how the team is being built by TNT brass and of course, their head coach, Chot Reyes, and said that he wanted to be a part of that.

“They just won a championship. They’re contending, they’re really going up. So for me, once I got their call that they were interested, I was like, ‘Okay, let’s try to get this done.’ Because that’s a place I really see myself fitting in, and really want to be,” Ganuelas-Rosser said.

His familiarity with Reyes and some of TNT’s players also played a huge part in his decision to sign with the Tropang Giga.

“I was there from my rookie year on. And knowing that I’ll be reunited with a lot of the older guys that are there,” shared Ganuelas-Rosser. “And then, being able to play under Coach Chot. That was like a big factor for me,” the Cal Poly Pomona product added.
