EXPERIENCED pugs Anthony Sabalde and Romnick Magos will trade leathers for the vacant Visproba super featherweight crown in the main event of “Engkwentro sa Talibon” on March 2 at the San Jose basketball court in Talibon, Bohol.
Sabalde lost his last three fights while Magos lost two in a row. Sabalde is 12-8 with seven knockouts, while the 27-year-old Magos, a former World Boxing Organization (WBO) Asia Pacific Youth flyweight champion, is 12-7 with seven knockouts.
In the undercard, John Kenan Villaflor (7-5-3, 2 KOs) will lock horns with Anthony Galigao (8-12, 3 KOs), Roldan Sasan (6-1, 3 KOs) will take on journeyman Ryan Makaputin (13-15-2, 4 KOs), Robert Awetin (11-26-2, 9 KOs) will be up against Belmar Plaza (3-10-3, 1 KO) and unbeaten Jimmybie Cais (1-0) will face off with Roga Libres (3-13).
