SCSIT, Talisay keep win streak

SCSIT and Talisay City Hall remain unbeaten and stayed on top of their respective groups in the City Hoops Basketball Season 6 - Brinnovid Cup after a win each last Sunday, Nov. 25, at the Vista Grande Gym in Talisay City.

SCSIT beat Venomenon, 82-75, in Group A thanks to a 19-point night by Jojoe Lañojan. Butal Bobcartien and Adriel Intong added 13 each, while Kevin Labay exploded for 36 points in a losing effort by Venomenon.

SCSIT is now 3-0 and at the top of Group A.

Talisay City Hall, on the other hand, defeated Yoyi’s Pastries and Desserts, 94-89, in Group B.

It was total team effort by Talisay City hall with five players scoring in double figures. Christopher Obeso led the charge with 20 markers, Johncle Molero and Juntay Bardilla scored 15 each, Jovan Tabay added 14 and Niño Obeso contributed 11.

Joshua Salvador sizzled with 24 points, Andrew Cabintoy chipped in 16, Jao Rabadon had 15 and Marco Albarracin scored 11 for Yoyi’s Pastries and Desserts.

Talisay City Hall is also 3-0 and at the top of Group B.

Bulldogs won against Cascrete Builders, 90-84, in the other Group A game.

In Group C games, Squeezie Laundry destroyed Sanmigalizers, 134-81; Ombra D won against 3DG, 89-79; and TDH Medical outclassed BPO Brothas, 104-89. (EKA)
