REYMART Tagacanao and 10 other amateur pugs from the home team Napo Boxing Club (NBC) won in the “Thrilla in Ocaña” on Nov. 30, 2019 at the Ocaña Covered Court in Carcar City.

Tagacanao, who’s close to turning pro, continued his winning romp in the amateur ranks after a convincing unanimous decision over Gart Llamas of Cebu City Sports Center (CCSC) Boxing Gym in the main event.

Tagacanao, who fights in the 53-kilo division, has won 10 straight contests just six months after picking up boxing.

EMT Boxing Gym’s Jimpaul Dignos, another amateur turning pro, beat CCSC’s Clark Malones in the co-main event.

The winners from NBC were John Mangyao, Jimwel Aranas, Gio Peresores, Jhamel Peresores, James Navares, Cedrick Benlot, Lance Ulbenario, Renald Mangyao, Xandy Arias and Jheyan Dayagbil.

There were four other winners from EMT Boxing Gym - Alec Del Rio, Aki Abello, Nery Murillo and Clinton Martinez. (EKA)
