Two Pinoy boxers see action in Las Vegas card

FILIPINO pugs Neil John Tabanao and John Vincent Moralde are both seeing action today, April 6, at the Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall in Las Vegas.

Tabanao takes on unbeaten prospect Angelo Leo, while Moralde faces undefeated Xavier Martinez in a couple of 10-rounders in the boxing show promoted by Floyd Mayweather Jr.

The 25-year-old Tabanao is making his US debut.

He is 17-4 with 11 knockouts, while Leo is 16-0 with eight knockouts. Meanwhile, Moralde, who fights out of the Sanman Gym in Gen. Santos City, is 21-2 with 11 knockouts, while Martinez is 13-0 with nine knockouts. (EKA)
