Valenzuela routs Marikina in MPBL Season 4

The Valenzuela XUR Homes Realty Inc. routed the Marikina Shoe Masters, 66-48, in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League Season 4 at the Bahayang Pag Asa in Valenzuela City.

Former VisMin Super Cup MVP Jaymar Gimpayan continued to flaunt his high-flying prowess as he had 12 points, six rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and a steal to help Valenzuela capture their second win in the tournament.

Jaycee Adjei also did a lot of damage for Valenzuela as he compiled 10 points, five boards, three assists, and three steals. Brylle Meca and Patrick Cabahug added nine markers apiece in the lopsided win which gave them a 3-1 record.

Meanwhile, in the first game, the Nueva Ecija Vanguards crushed the Mindoro Tams, 98-68.

John Villarias had 22 points, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals to power Nueve Ecija to the rousing victory in their debut.

Mike Juico and Michael Mabulac had 13 points and nine rebounds each, while Pamboy Raymundo chipped in 11 points, four boards, and four steals.
