THE famed Yaw-Yan ArDigma Cebu is opening its doors anew to the youth that are interested in mixed martial arts, with a summer clinic on April 1 at the fourth floor of Coast Pacific Downtown Center across the University of Cebu (UC) main campus.

Yaw-Yan ArDigma Cebu founder Master Benigno “Ekin” Caniga Jr. is looking forward to another fun and exciting camp. He hopes to find youth who have raw potential in combat sports.

“We are expecting kids and teens to join us especially since we’re offering classes in mixed martial arts,” he said.

Considered as the MMA pioneer club in the region, Yaw-Yan ArDigma has developed a lot of elite and professional fighters including Roel “Akiyama” Rosauro, who has fought in the One Championship twice.

“My primary goal is still to develop Cebuano fighters that will excel in the international stage. Hopefully through the summer clinic, I can find fighters who have potentials,” said Caniga.

The interested parties have a lot of options to choose from, as the month-long summer clinic offers Muay Thai, MMA, arnis, boxing and basic self-defense.

The registration is now ongoing at the Yaw-Yan ArDigma gym.

Meanwhile, Caniga announced that one of his stalwarts, undefeated Allan Albindo, has been included in the roster for the ONE Warrior Series, ONE Championship’s farm league. (RSC)
