THE old building of Isuzu Davao along MacArthur Highway, Davao City will be expected to have a new façade and a more spacious area come May 2021. This is after they had their groundbreaking for the new building last Wednesday, July 8, 2020.

Isuzu Davao President and General Manager Jockson Liu shared that they have fully utilized their 10,000 square meter land area to make room that will hopefully give customers a better experience inside.

“Our expansion signifies our commitment to good quality service. We actually started from the back--the service side. We built three paint booths so it’s really enclosed instead of just painting outside. It is really to deliver good quality service,” said Liu who also added that their showroom will be more spacious now occupying 2,000 square meters.

According to Liu customers can also expect a bigger parking space as they have set back about 25 meters from the highway.

The renovation of the entire space had been in planning for three years now. They started from the back which is the service center. It had already been completed and now fully operational with the mentioned three new enclosed paint booth. The groundbreaking signifies the start of the demolishing of the old building – the one people see by the road.

Despite the stress brought about by the Covid-19, Liu is optimistic that the automotive industry will continue to flourish as most of their customers buy out of need and not just recreation.
