SENATOR Christopher “Bong” Go’s son placed third in this year’s Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examinations garnering 89.50 percent, based on the list of passers posted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

Christian Lawrence “Chrence” Go is a graduate of the De La Salle University in Manila, wherein he finished summa cum laude.

In a press statement, the older Go said he is proud of his son’s achievement, saying: “I am very proud of my son. Hindi ko mailarawan ang kaligayahang nadadama ko ngayon (I cannot describe my happiness right now).”

Coincidentally, the senator also landed in the top three in the 2019 midterm elections.

Go also said he is happy that the country has a new roster of certified public accountants.

“Congratulations sa lahat ng passers (to all the passers) and may you all practice your new profession conscientiously,” he said.

The PRC bared that 2,075 out of 14,492 successfully passed the CPA Licensure examination administered this month.

Justine Louie Bautista Santiago, a graduate of the University of Sto. Tomas (UST), topped with a passing rate of 90.33 percent, followed by Malou Borbon Alinsonorin of the University of San Carlos (USC) with 89.67 percent.
