Beloy wins Datba title

DARIUS Beloy emerged champion in the Datba weekly single tournament held Saturday at the SM Lanang Premier Bowling Center.

Beloy, with a handicap of 29, garnered a total of 615 pinfalls after three games. He rolled 225 pins in the second game to break away from his stiffest rivals Jesrael Rule and Uree Uy who placed second and third, respectively.

Rule, whose handicap is 13, amassed 604 pinfalls while Uy (29) toppled 598 pins 15-player tournament, which serves as qualifying for the monthly finals competition.

Beloy received P800 cash prize while Rule got P400 and Uy claimed P300.

The champion also booked a seat in the June monthly finals slated June 30 along with other Saturday winners Joshua Disuacido and Mike Aquiatan.

The last day of qualifying is on Saturday, June 29.

Qualifiers include Art Galendez, Gab Velasco, AJ Galendez, Ivan Awid, Rod Tongo, Robin Tamondong, Rule, Julius Cajis, Dianne Galendez-Lim and Ralph Martin.
