Magnolia Freedom Run 10K champions

ARLAN Arbois of Team Aura and Vivian Avergonzado of Team Tagum Runners Club lorded over their rivals in the 1st Magnolia Freedom Run 4.0 held at the Lanang Business Park over the weekend.

Arbois, a third year criminology student at Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC), ruled the men's 10K division after checking in at 28 minutes and 24 seconds followed by Elmer Bartolo (29:40), Paul James Zafico (30:50) and Michael Jan Echalico (31:35) who occupied the next three places.

Avergonzado, who recently won the women's 10K title of the Hunat Dabaw Glow Run, clocked 36:58 to also annex the women's 10K crown over Marilyn Carter (38:13), Julie Ann Morales (44:38) and Almie Tenajoret (47:36).

Meanwhile, Fritz Clarence Lantaco (15:42) topped the men's 5K while Diana Mae Memoracion (20:27) governed the distaff side.

Shan Balbuena (13:50) and Angelica Villanueva (12:02) shared top honors in male and female 3K events, respectively.

The winners received gift certificates.
