Montevista keeps lead

MONTEVISTA booters kept its lead in the team standings after grabbing two wins in the recent resumption of the 1st JT's Manukan 9-Aside Football Cup at the Azuela Cove in Lanang, Davao City.

The visiting squad, which currently totes five wins, zero draw and one loss, stopped Davao Tuloy Football Club (FC), 4-1, after defeating Davao Striker on the same note in the under-15 division of the tournament jointly presented by JT's Manukan Grille, Sports Amusement & Recreation Corporation (SparCorp) and Azuela Cove.

Crocs FC also eked out two wins over Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School (1-0) and Black Rose (2-0) to place second so far with a 4-0-1 record.

PNJKIS and Davao Striker, however, settled for a draw.

Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) Davao United (3-1-1) is currently third in the team standings followed by Davao Tuloy FC 2-0-2 in fourth, Black Rose FC (2-0-3) fifth, Davao Striker (0-2-4) sixth and PNJKIS (0-1-4) seventh.

In under 11, Hyenas FC blanked PNJKIS, 7-0, while South Shield subdued RMC, 3-0, and Crocs FC beat Black Rose FC, 2-0.

Games will resume Saturday, December 15.
