SOS Children’s Village bags four titles

THE SOS Children’s Village bagged four titles in the recently-concluded 82nd Araw ng Dabaw Get Into Rugby Festival at the Tionko field.

SOS topped the boys Cup Division under-12, girls under-16 Cup Division, boys under-16 Cup Division and Tag League Seniors division.

SOS bested Bankas Heights Elementary School-Alpha for the boys under-12 crown. The latter settled for the runner-up honors while Buhisan Elementary School Pioneer and, Sirawan Beach Elementary School placed third and fourth, respectively.

Francisco Bangoy Central Elementary School won the boys U12 Plate division over Buhisan Elementary School Cadet.

The SOS U16 girls team subdued Ateneo de Davao Junior High School who placed second. Telesforo Singson National High School-A and Crossing Bayabas National High School grabbed the next two spots.

Meanwhile, the SOS U16 boys toppled TSNHS-A for the title even as CBNHS and TSNHS-B took the next two places.

In Tag League Seniors event, SOS crushed Extinct Durians who placed second. University of Mindanao finished third followed by the Davao Legionnaires in fourth.

Buhisan Elementary School-Rizal, for its part, clinched the girls U12 Cup Division trophy while Generation X ruled the Tag League Seniors.
