Off-site payment centers set up at malls

Sunnexdesk

AS PART of a keen vision to level-up Iloilo City towards efficient public service, "Off-site Payment Centers" for business and real property taxes have been installed at the malls to deliver more accessible services closer to the people.

The establishment of off-site facilities in Atrium, Festive Walk and Marymart Center are meant to make tax payments more convenient.

Mayor Jerry Treñas wants to bring the City Government’s ease of doing business closer to the public through client-friendly initiatives.

The payment centers are expected to be completely ready once the necessary equipment has been set up.

City Hall also requested the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (Peza) to be part of the off-site payment center at the Festive Walk to cater to the concerns of Peza-accredited business process outsourcing (BPO) companies. (PR)
