THREE persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) escaped from the maximum security compound of the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) early Monday dawn, January 17, 2022, the Bureau of Corrections (Bucor) said.

Bucor spokesperson Gabriel Chaclag identified the escapees as Arwin Villeza Bio, 35, convicted for murder and attempted murder; Drakilou Yosores Falcon, 34, convicted for robbery with homicide and has a pending murder case; and Pacific Villaruz Adlawa, 49, who is serving sentence for frustrated murder and illegal drug use and has a pending homicide case.

Chaclag tagged the PDLs as “armed and dangerous.”

He said coordination and recovery efforts are ongoing.

He urged the public to be vigilant and immediately notify Bucor authorities via hotline numbers 09178049362 and 09186001081 should there be sightings of the three PDLs in their area.

Investigation as to how the inmates bolted the facility is ongoing. (SunStar Philippines)
