BRP Jose Rizal on its way home from Rimpac Exercise

THE Philippine Navy’s first missile-capable warship, BRP Jose Rizal, is on its way back to the Philippines after participating in the Rim of the Pacific (Rimpac) exercise.

The frigate left Pearl Harbor in Hawaii on Saturday, September 5, and is on its way to the designated rendezvous area with USS Chung-Hoon (DDG 93) and Royal Brunei Navy KDB Darulehsan (OPV 07) in the vicinity of Oahu Island, Hawaii, USA for the conduct of Post-Rimpac Exercise 2020 group sail.

BRP Jose Rizal is expected to arrive in Subic, Zambales on September 21.
