BELIEVING that the new generation of voters are already ready to hear their side of the story, Ilocos Norte Governor María Imelda Josefa "Imee" Marcos filed on Tuesday, October 16, her certificate of candidacy (COC) for senator.

Marcos said she is not worried over the perennial anti-Marcos sentiments that may adversely affect her candidacy.

“There have already been changes over the years. The new generation is ready to hear our side of the story,” she said. “If I am worried that it may affect me, I would not have been here.”
