Jeron Teng, 2 others stabbed in brawl

Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player Jeron Teng and two former teammates in the De La Salle Green Archers were wounded early Sunday morning, June 4, after they were stabbed during a brawl outside a bar in Taguig City, Metro Manila.

A report by the Taguig Police Community Precinct Station 7 said Teng and his La Salle teammates Thomas and Norbert Torres were walking outside the night club at the Fort Strip in Bonifacio Global City when they were approached by a group.

A heated argument ensued and ended in a stabbing incident.

Teng and his former teammates were rushed to St. Luke's Medical Hospital in BGC for treatment.

The police arrested the suspects identified as Edmar Manalo, a 40-year-old Filipino-American, Joseph Varona from Paranaque City and Willard Basili of Muntinlupa City. (Third Anne Peralta-Malonzo/SunStar Philippines)
