BROWNOUT hit Barangays Kauswagan and Bonbon areas on Saturday after an electric power pole beside a Chinese school was wrecked due to an undetermined cause.

The management of Cagayan Electric Power and Light Company (Cepalco), over an electronic-answering phone, said a pole beside Kong Hua Chinese School in Barangay Kauswagan was allegedly destroyed early morning Saturday.

It said electric power is estimated to be backed in place at 5 p.m. Saturday.
