MANILA -- President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III on Wednesday lashed out National Capital Region Command (NCRCom) chief Rear Admiral Feliciano Angue for continuous grievances about his supposed demotion.

“Ako po ang nahalal ng taong-bayan. Parte ho ng papel ko Commander-in-Chief, siya po ang subordinate ko, desisyon ko po ‘yun sumunod siya—ganon lang ka-simple ‘yun,” Aquino said in a press briefing.

He added that it is improper for a subordinate to debate with his commander-in-chief.

Angue, who became controversial for divulging alleged politicking of military officials in the last May 10 elections, has been complaining about his purported demotion as commander of the Naval Forces Western Mindanao Command based in Zamboanga City. (Jill Beltran/Sunnex)
