Attempted homicide suspects surrender

TWO suspects for attempted homicide had voluntarily surrendered Friday morning to the members of Police Station 4, the police said Friday.

Police records showed that the suspects were identified as Bonifacio Escobar, 50, and Manuel Escobar, 19, both residents of Phase 1, Lot 19, Block 105, Celine Homes, Subdivision, Barangay Estefania, Bacolod City.

The police said that about 8:30 a.m., both suspects voluntarily surrendered to Police Officer 2 Ely Dela Llave at the Community Police Unit (CPU) in Barangay Estafania.

Both suspects face a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Abraham Bayona of Branch 7 of the Bacolod City Regional Trial Court for attempted homicide.

Bayona also fixed the bail in the amount of P12,000 for their temporary liberty.

At around 11 a.m. Friday, both suspects had already posted bail and were released from detention.
