MAKATI CITY, Metro Manila -- Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) announced on Wednesday, November 7, that most BPI and BPI Family Savings Bank (BFB) branches in the National Capital Region (NCR), Pampanga, and Bulacan will be open on Monday, November 13 through Wednesday, November 15, to enable its clients to carry out financial transactions during the special non-working days.

“We will be happy to provide full branch services to our customers during the entire duration of the 31st ASEAN Summit,” said Joseph A. Gotuaco, Executive Vice President and Head of BPI Retail Banking Group.

Only a few BPI branches affected by traffic restrictions or office closures as a result of the summit will not operate. A complete list of BPI and BFB branches that will be open during the holidays can be viewed at www.bpiexpressonline.com as well as BPI’s official Facebook page and Twitter account.

As the Philippine Clearing House Corp., Philippine Stock Exchange and Philippine Dealing System will be open, BPI and BFB will be able to process deposit-related, checks and payments, foreign exchange, and remittance transactions on a business-as-usual basis. All BPI Direct BanKo branches will also be open.

“Our electronic channels, such as ATM, online, mobile and phone banking channels will also be available during the long weekend,” Gotuaco added. (PR)
