SUPPLY of cutflowers remain stable with tons being delivered to Metro manila and other parts of Luzon in time for February 14.

"We have enough supply. But we might be surprised of a higher demand on Valentine's Day since it's a weekday, compared last year that it was on a Sunday," Barangay Bahong Captain Belmer Elis said.

"Expect a price increase too, specifically on roses. The extra long stem is at P700 - P800 per bundle (2 dozens) as of Friday. But, we have other varieties of roses which are in demand too," he added.

Towards the weekend, he said truck loads of different kinds of flowers were transported to Dangwa in Manila.
