Google appoints new country marketing manager for PH office

MANILA -- Google Philippines announced Wednesday, September 28, the appointment of Gabriel Roxas as country marketing manager for the Philippines.

Roxas joins Google from Johnson & Johnson where he was senior marketing manager for Global Franchise Operations, based in Singapore. Prior to that, he was regional marketing manager for Mead Johnson and also had stints in The Coca Cola Company and Procter and Gamble.

"I see so much potential in the Philippines in terms of digital innovations, which has a big impact on economic growth, access to opportunities and jobs, and more developed online services. I look forward to helping Google harness the Philippines' digital capabilities," he said.

Roxas is a graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in Business Management. He also holds a master's degree in Business Administration from Nanyang Technological University. (PR)
