THE Malacanang has funded the task force with a P1.7 billion to solve problems on the expected El Nino consequences, a television report said.

The action plan to be worked on the by El Nino Task Force will include outseeding, filling of water to dams, and providing an alternative plants that don't need water that much like fruit trees.

The Water Resources Board for its part, recommends the water utility companies to lessen water supply in Manila.
