MASANTOL, Pampanga -- The local government here led by Mayor Danilo Guintu recently inaugurated a P1.1-million building located in front of the municipal hall.

The two-storey building will house the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and the Philippine National Police monitoring office.

Guintu said that the new building, which was funded locally, aims to enhance the delivery of public service in terms of peace and calamity response.

He stressed that the building was constructed at the center of the Metro Plaza to easily oversee the activities around the area, as well as provide quick response for any mishap.

“We are trying to provide a decent office for every local and national agency in our town to compensate their hard works and further boost their delivery of service,” he said.

Aside from the said building, the Municipal Library and the brand new garbage truck donated by Governor Lilia Pineda were also blessed by Rev. Fr. Mark Manabat.

Also present during the ceremony were Vice-Mayor Ralph Nulud, Sangguniang Bayan members, Chief Inspector Julius Javier and municipal employees.
