A TOTAL of 277 minors were rescued by Police Station 7 in Bacolod City from December 3, 2017 to January 21, 2018.

Senior Inspector Ramel Sarona, head of Police Station 7, said on Monday these minors violated the curfew hours in the areas of Barangays Mansilingan and Alijis.

He said most of the minors were usually found staying beyond 10 p.m. inside computer shops.

They were immediately turned over to their parents who were advised to always guide their children to prevent them from staying late outside for safety reasons, Sarona added.

He also said the station conducts intensified visibility patrol to monitor minors in streets during night time.

With their intensified campaign, only a few minors are now seen in streets during curfew hours, he said.
