NOT CREATING. President Rodrigo Duterte announced Monday, February 6, that he would no longer create a seven-man commission that would investigate the botched Mamasapano operation launched last January 25, 2015.

ALLEGED INVOLVEMENT. Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II said investigators are now looking into the alleged involvement of a Korean mafia on the abduction and killing of South Korean businessman Jee Ick-joo last October.

WAGE HIKE. The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) approved Monday, February 6, an adjustment of P13 to the existing minimum wage in various parts of Central Visayas.
