HEAVILY silted drains that caused flooding in Davao City during heavy downpour on Thursday midnight were cleared by the Davao City Drainage Management Unit (DMU).

The unit said the clogged drains were on Magsaysay Street, Chavez Street, Mt. Apo Street, Camus Street, F. Torres Street, and Ecoland Drive.

Only the manholes on Magsaysay and Chavez areas were not desilted because they were hidden by floodwaters. (KGL)
